Artists Paint Photo Enforcement Poles
On May 13th, 2005 The Winnipeg Police Service enlisted student artists from École Taché and Carpathia School to theme and paint two of the Photo Enforcement poles and camera housing units.
The two hand painted poles are now installed at these intersections near their schools: Provencher Blvd and Aulneau St. and at Corydon Ave. and Kenaston Blvd.
These poles serve as a reminder to motorists from the children of our community to slow down and stop for red lights.
