Financial Robbery Investigation – Public Assistance Requested – C16-45044

On Friday, March 4, 2016, at approximately 4:30 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a financial institution in the 1800 block of Main Street for the report of a robbery that had just occurred.

It was learned that a male suspect attended to a female teller indicating he had a bomb and demanded money.  He was given an undisclosed amount of cash before he fled.

Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the following male suspect:

The suspect is described as: Middle Eastern in appearance, 35 – 40 years-old, 5’10” – 5’11” tall, medium build, dark hair, slight facial hair with a moustache.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is asked to investigators with the Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

 

Male Wanted -- Les MARACLE (a.k.a. DUMAS)    C16-44956


The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a 32-year-old male identified as Les MARACLE (a.k.a. DUMAS).

MARACLEis wanted in connection with an incident on March 4th, 2016, and faces a number of charges including; Assault with a Weapon X 5, Uttering Threats X2, and Possession of a Weapon X 2.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.  MARACLE should not be approached under any circumstances.

Child Sexual Abuse Imagery Arrest -- R150047152

Members of the Winnipeg Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) and Technological Crime Units have been involved in an investigation regarding child sexual abuse imagery.
   
As a result of the investigation, investigators conducted a search warrant at a residence in the Fort Richmond area of the city, in which electronic devices were seized.
   
Terry HEDLUND, 57-years-old, has been charged with
   
-Possession of Child Pornography,
-Access Child Pornography
-Imports, Distributes, Sells or Poss for the Purpose of Distribution or Sale any Child Pornography
   
HEDLUND was detained in custody.
