Winnipeg Police Service Media Release
For Immediate Release

Shooting

On November 28th, 2008, shortly before 1:00 P.M., Emergency Services responded to a bus stop on Portage Avenue near Edmonton Street in regards to a person being shot. Upon arrival a 29 year old male was found suffering from injuries to his midsection and lower body. He was conveyed to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.

The investigation is currently ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
