Winnipeg Police Service Media Release
For Immediate Release
Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision
The Winnipeg Police Service is currently investigation a serious motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles which occurred at the intersection of Donald Street and York Avenue at 4:40 a.m.
Three persons were conveyed to hospital. One individual has succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision, one individual is currently being treated in hospital for serious injuries and a third individual has been treated and released.
The investigation is continuing by the Central Traffic Unit. No further information is available at this time.
Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision Involving Cyclist
On Friday, September 28th, 2007, a twenty year old male cyclist was involved in a serious collision with a motor vehicle near the intersection of Gunn Road and Redonda Street and was conveyed to hospital in critical condition.
The male has since succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is continuing by the Winnipeg Police Service Central Traffic Unit and no further information is available at this time.
