Winnipeg Police Service Media Release
For Immediate Release
Fire
Shortly before 6:00 a.m. on July 31st, 2007 members of the Winnipeg Police Service attended to a fire at an address in the 200 block of Aberdeen Avenue. The fire had caused substantial damage. An 81 year old female and an 82 year old male were taken to hospital in guarded condition.
The fire does not appear to be suspicious at this time. The Arson Strike Force is continuing with the investigation.
