Attempted Carjacking
On June 27th shortly after 5:00 p.m. a Shaw Cable van was working near Berrydale Avenue and St Anne’s Road. As the 31 year old male employee stepped out of the vehicle, a male approached him brandishing a pellet gun and demanded the keys. As the Shaw employee began to turn over his keys, the male shot him in the lower body causing minor injuries that did not require medical attention. The suspect then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 18-19 years, with a slim to medium build. He spoke with a slight lisp.
He was wearing a purple L.A. Lakers “Bryant” jersey, dark coloured shorts, a baby blue baseball cap worn sideways and white sweat bands on his wrists.
Attempted Robbery
On June 27th shortly after 2:30 a.m. 7-Eleven Store located in the first hundred block of Killarney Avenue was robbed. One male entered the store while a second male stood watch outside the door. The first male produced brass knuckles and ordered the clerks to lie on the floor. He then went behind the counter but was called away by the first second male before he could obtain anything. They were last observed running north behind the store.
The first male suspect is described as having a dark complexion, approximately 16 years of age, 5’6”, medium build. He was wearing a red bandana over his face and a brown shirt.
The second male suspect is described as approximately 16 years of age, thin to medium build wearing a black hooded sweater.
