Extensive Commercial Break, Enter & Theft Investigation
Between June 2002 and June 10th, 2005 the Crime Units from Districts 2, 3, and 6 have been investigating numerous commercial break and enters to small businesses and strip malls. This investigation began with a break in to Speedy Auto Glass in the 500 block of Pembina Highway on June 6th, 2002 and continued until June 8th, 2005, when the Mega Wraps store in the 1000 block of St James Street was broken into.
In all Break and Enters, cash was stolen and substantial damage was caused to the businesses.
On June 10th, 2005, Crime Unit officers observed a male in the area of Main Street and Flora Avenue who met the description of a possible suspect in this investigation and led to the arrest of Houstan Alexander Henderson, 45 years of age of Winnipeg. Henderson has been charged with Break, Enter a place with intent to commit an indictable offence X 134.
This investigation is continuing and additional charges may follow.
Missing Person
The Winnipeg Police Service is looking for a missing female by the name of Kimberlee Bean who was reported missing on May 12th, 2005.

Kimberlee Bean is 22 years of age, and is described as a Caucasian female, 5’5”, 150 lbs. with shoulder length brown hair worn in a pony tail and blue eyes. The clothing Kimberlee was wearing when she went missing is unknown.
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting anyone with information of her whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 986-6250 or the Winnipeg Police Service at 986-6222.

Damage To Vehicles
On June 14th at about 5:00 p.m. a 41 year old male attended to the parking lot of the Jim Gauthier Chev. Olds dealership at 1400 McPhillips St., where he drove his vehicle into 5 new vehicles that were parked in the lot. Damage to those vehicles was estimated at $30,000. The male was arrested by police and now faces charges of Mischief. No one was injured during the incident.

Commercial Armed Robbery
Shortly after 6:00 p.m., a lone male entered the Esso Station at 1693 King Edward St. armed with a long barreled gun and obtained an undisclosed quantity of cash and cigarettes. During the robbery, several customers entered the store and were ordered to the floor at gunpoint. There were no injures.
The suspect was described as a male, 17-18 years old, small build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a mask over his face.
