Robbery
On June 12th, 2005 shortly after 4:00 a.m. the 7-11 store in the 400 block of Academy Road was robbed. Two suspects entered the store wearing facial disguises and demanded money, cigarettes and lottery tickets and fled the area.
The first suspect is described as male, 17-25 years of age, 5’8”, slender build, wearing a green bandana covering his face, black hoodie with a logo on the front and black pants, armed with a knife.
The second suspect is described similarly but is said to have been wearing khaki pants.
Robbery
On June 13th, 2005 shortly before 3:00 a.m. the Mac’s Convenience Store in the 100 bock of Osborne Street was robbed. A lone male entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money and fled the area.
The suspect is described as 25 years of age, 5’6”, 140 lbs., medium build, wearing a blue baseball cap, blue jean jacket and had his face covered with a green cloth.
Robbery
Shortly after 3:30 a.m. the morning of June 13th, 2005 the Domo Gas Bar in the first hundred block of Marion Street was robbed. A lone male demanded cigarettes and fled the area. Members of the Winnipeg Police Service attended the area and observed a suspect fleeing this location.
Brendan Terrance Buckels, 19 years of age of Winnipeg has been charged with Robbery with Violence.
Increased Sunday Night Traffic Enforcement
On Sunday evening the Winnipeg Police Service had seventeen cruiser cars and a street supervisor assigned to conduct traffic enforcement throughout the City. At this time it appears that approximately 130 traffic offence notices were issued for a variety of traffic offences.
