Robbery

Monday May 30th at approximately 6:00 a.m. a 43 year old female was walking in the area of Battery Street and College Avenue. She was approached from behind by an unknown female suspect who was armed with a knife. The suspect demanded her purse and then kicked her once to the body. The victim turned over her purse and the suspect fled.

The suspect is described as female, possibly 17-25 years, slim build with dark shoulder length hair.

 

Indecent Act

Monday May 30th at approximately 12:00 noon a male was in the 1600 block of Regent Avenue performing an indecent act. Witnesses called Police, however the male left prior to their arrival.

The male is described as Caucasian, in his mid 30’s, with dark, thinning hair.

 

Indecent Act

A second incident occurred yesterday at approximately 2:30 p.m. A male was seen in a vehicle in the vicinity of McLeod Avenue and Gateway Street performing an indecent act. The male left in a vehicle prior to Police arrival. Members of the District # 4 Detectives are investigating both incidents.

 

Grow Operation Busted

Monday May 30th at approximately 3:30 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were called to an address on Fox Meadow Drive. While at the address a marihuana grow operation was located in the basement. A total of 82 plants with a street value of $92,000.00 and $10,000.00 worth of hydroponic grow equipment, were recovered.

An adult male faces drug related charges.

 

Update on Missing Female

In regards to the missing female Tracy Marchinko, she has been located. The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

 

Stabbing Incident

Police are seeking a male in regards to a stabbing incident on May 11th.
