Please note our hours of operation are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Enquiry Counter will be closed to the Public on Fridays.

In an effort to reduce the time it takes to process Criminal Record Checks and provide greater customer service, the Winnipeg Police Service has instituted a policy of Friday closures. This practice has proved extremely effective in the past and has lead to the elimination of backlogs.

Due to the number of people requesting criminal record checks, we are unable to process your application while you wait.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE VULNERABLE SECTOR SEARCH

Vulnerable Sector Verification is used to determine the possible existence of a criminal record and/or a sexual offence conviction for which an individual has received a pardon. With recent changes made by the RCMP in this search, it will result in more individuals having to submit fingerprints to the RCMP National Repository of Criminal Records to complete the verification.
