Salary Level

Effective June 28, 2015, the starting wage of an Auxiliary Force Cadet is $15.77 hourly with an increase after one year or the accumulation of a year (2080 hours) of satisfactory service as outlined below.

*The starting wage of an Auxiliary Force Cadet is $16.24 hourly to a maximum of $17.49 hourly with an increase after one year or the accumulation of a year (2080 hours) of satisfactory service.

The above table does not include the $1.00 per hour shift premium. Full-time Cadets will work half of their time on evening shifts.

Overtime is also available on a regular basis. Overtime is set at 1.5 times the rate of pay for the first two consecutive hours, and double time after the first two hours.
