School Education Officer and Children The School Education Section of the Winnipeg Police Service is comprised of 6 officers who are responsible for providing support to the educational community.

We accomplish this by providing crime prevention programming to parent groups, school administrators, teachers, and students in all 300 City of Winnipeg schools (Public & Private), in the form of TakeAction in Schools PowerPoint Presentations on topics such as Internet Safety, Drug Awareness, Gang Awareness, Bullying, Personal Safety, Arson and Driving.

The School Education Section also maintains the School Safety Patrol Program in 188 schools, by providing training, evaluations and support.
