Low Contractual Risk - Construction Building Low Risk

Word templates, instructions and related general conditions for use in preparing Bid Opportunity Documents for lower contractual risk general construction projects.

Choose this template if your project has any or all of the following requirements:

  • Scope of work is minor in nature (e.g. minor repairs or installations of equipment to real property)

  • Safety concerns are low

  • No significant hazardous materials involved

  • No need for Bid Security

  • Performance Security may or may not be required

  • Use of Construction Specification Canada (CSC) Format



  • Form of contract will be a Purchase Order.


    Before using the templates, please check to ensure your computer's operating system and Word are patched to the levels indicated, and Word's settings have been modified appropriately. System & Software Set-Up Requirements Page
