Research and Production Services
Research and Production Services provides all civic departments, elected officials and Special Operating Agencies with a full range of high quality, cost-effective, confidential services including:
- delivery of research/analysis in support of succession planning; translation, graphic design, and printing;
- purchasing of external production related communication services; mail services;
- and workforce adjustment support.
Research/Administration Branch
- provides demographic research on topics related to the current civic workforce
- trend analysis related to anticipated labour force composition and future organizational needs
- quantitative/qualitative research services
- and settlement/resolution of claims related to social services trailing business
Printing/Graphics/Mail Branch
- provides comprehensive communication production support services
- including high speed black and white or spot colour reproduction and bindery services for time-sensitive and confidential documents
- graphic design and layout services
- mail services (pick up, delivery, metering and account management) between civic departments and externally
- purchasing of external printing and design services
Translation Branch
- provides translation of materials for internal and external distribution (to or from English; all languages)
- project management of translations contracted out (proofreading, revisions, etc.)
