Groundwork for Change

Wednesday, February 10, 2016

Monique Woroniak, a City of Winnipeg Librarian, speaks with CBC’s Rosanna Deerchild about how she was inspired to make change in her community around relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples and what she is doing now.

Listen to the full interview on CBC – Unreserved.

Monique recently launched a new website: Groundwork for Change. Groundwork for Change was built to support solidarity and positive relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Through this website, you can also access information on treaties, residential schools, land and water rights, urban reserves, First Nations, Metis and Inuit communities, today’s Indigenous issues, and much more.
