Inspections
The Fire Prevention Branch will conduct inspections of buildings upon request. There is a cost associated with this service and it is detailed here. Anyone can request an inspection but a letter of permission from the owner is required. There is a Release For Inspection form that needs to be filled out and sent to the Fire Prevention Branch to initiate the request. This form details requirements and liabilities. It can be found online or picked up at 2nd Floor, 185 King Street.
