P.A.C.E.R. (Paramedics Active in Community Education and Response)
  • The PACER program has specially outfitted and equipped paramedics who patrol streets, parks and public events on bicycles during the summer months.
  • PACER crews respond to calls and stabilize patients until the ambulance arrives to transport the patient if needed.
  • PACER crews are highly effective at events with large crowds because they are very maneuverable and highly visible to people seeking medical aid.
  • The PACER program provides a great opportunity to promote helmet and bicycle safety for children and adults.
