Non Emergency Transfers by Ambulance

When you need to transport someone to or from a medical facility and it's not a life-threatening situation, call 204-986-6336 to reserve an ambulance. Please book your ambulance request as far in advance as possible.

To book Inter-facility transfers (hospital to hospital) please call 204-986-8410.

Emergency and Non Emergency ambulance service is subject to fees that are approved by City Council.

School or Community Visits

To book a Public Education activity, please call 204-986-6320, send an email request by sending an Email, or visit the Public Education Branch at 2546 McPhillips St.

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Public Education Officers provide fire safety and arson awareness for schools, businesses or other public groups, as well as displays and information to the public. A fire safety lecture or information booth can be booked with three weeks advance notice at no charge.

Other Public Education activities include Fire Prevention Week, community events, fire drills, station tours, car seat inspections, and the Youth Fire Stop Program.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) strives to provide superior service to the citizens we serve in all aspects of our organization and we are very interested in hearing from you. We respond to customer feedback in a timely manner ensuring a thorough review of all cases and a resolution process to the satisfaction of each customer, wherever possible. Any feedback that may improve the service provided to our customers is appreciated.

In order for the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service to conduct a review of an incident, details must be submitted in writing.

To help WFPS identify the incident, submissions must include the following details:

• Name
• Phone Number
• Mailing Address
• Patient's Name (if feedback is about EMS call)
• Relationship to Patient (if feedback is about EMS call)
• Incident Type
• Incident Date
• Incident Location
• Detailed Description of Events Which May Have Occurred

Submitting this information in writing helps us to avoid misinterpretation of the events while collecting the information.

Confidential comments regarding service delivery can be sent to the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service.
