Camerata Nova Camerata Nova was founded in 1996 as a choral ensemble dedicated to the exploration and performance of a cappella Renaissance music. the group has an impressive repertoire of works rescued from obscurity and presented in their original splendour. Camerata Nova also enjoys stretching the boundaries of its repertoire, exploring the use of overtone singing and unusual instruments, and performing a range of works from medieval songs to contemporary pieces, including compositions by Andrew Balfour, the group's Artistic Director.
