Martha Street Studio
Martha Street Studio is a professional artist print making facility and gallery located at 11 Martha Street next to the Manitoba Museum. The studio specializes in works on paper, editions and paintings and is dedicated to the promotion of awareness and appreciation of the printmaking art form in Manitoba and beyond.
Artists represented at Martha Street Studio explore a range of practices from cutting edge contemporary work to traditional representational etchings. We maintain an extensive inventory of art available for sale. As a non-profit organization, revenues from these works are divided between the respective artists and the organization to offset the costs of community-based programs.

Platform
Platform is Manitoba’s only artist-run centre devoted exclusively to the exhibition and study of photo-based art. Founded in 1981, the gallery operates as a locus of critical discourse, artistic development, production and exhibition; recognizing and respecting the tradition of the medium while encouraging innovation and re-evaluation of contemporary photographic standards and practices. As an artist-run centre we strive to remain as malleable as the medium itself.

Winnipeg Art Gallery
The Winnipeg Art Gallery is Canada’s first civic gallery, established in 1912 to promote, cultivate and maintain Manitoba’s visual arts heritage through exhibitions, educational programs and the development of a collection. One of Canada’s leading galleries, it exhibits and collects works of Manitoba, Canadian and international artists. The permanent collection of some 22,000 works includes over 10,000 pieces of contemporary Inuit art, considered the largest in the world. Located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, the signature Tyndall stone building is an architectural gem by Gustavo da Roza. In addition to eight galleries, there is a 320-seat auditorium, a rooftop sculpture garden and restaurant, a library, a gift shop and expansive meeting and lecture space. Art classes are offered in the adjacent Studio building.
