CrimeStat has changed!
January 9, 2009

The CrimeStat Web site has changed. The weekly statistics report and its year to date comparison along with the weekly static pdf maps have been replaced with a new interactive map called iMaps. You are no longer restricted to weekly information. You now have the flexibility to produce a map and statistics based on the criteria you are most interested in such as:

  • Various date ranges (7, 14, 30 days and a custom range of dates that go back to one year)
  • Specific crime types
  • Specific areas such as: Entire City, Police District, Electoral Ward and Neighbourhood

You can zoom the map display to a specific address or intersection.

It is important to understand that the actual location of the crime types on the map have been randomized prior to display. All data visualizations on maps should be considered approximate and attempts to derive specific addresses are strictly prohibited. There is more information described in the disclaimer. Please read, understand and accept the disclaimer to proceed into the iMaps application.

Click on the map below to enter iMaps, and view interactive CrimeStat maps and tabular statistics.
