Registration Methods

NEW! PROGRAM REGISTRATION PROCESS
For the Winter 2012 session, the Program Registration process will have staggered start dates.

DAY 1 - Tuesday, December 13 at 9:00 am
Registration for swimming lessons only begins

DAY 2 - Wednesday, December 14 at 9:00 am
Registration for all other programs begins & swimming lesson registration continues

Registration will be ongoing after these start dates.

Important Registration Information:

  • On December 13 and December 14 only, in-person registration will not be accepted
    at Bonivital or Margaret Grant Pools.

  • The new South-East Registration Centre in the Louis Riel Library Conference Room
    (1168 Dakota St.) has 6 service desks to process in-person registration. The South-East Registration Centre will operate on December 13 and December 14 only, from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.

  • Queue numbers at all in-person locations will be distributed starting at 7:00 am on December 13 and December 14.


Option One - Register Online

Before the first day of registration, have your login ID and PIN ready.

  • To set up a new account, call 311, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Remember to do this BEFORE registration starts.

To Register have the following information ready:

  • Login ID and PIN
  • Name(s) of participant(s)
  • Course code(s) - in order of preference
  • Credit card number (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and expiry date.

Go to Go to leisureonline. Follow the online registration steps through to credit card payment.

Your receipt will be emailed to you.

 

Option Two - Register by Phone

Have the following information ready:

  • Name(s) of participant(s)
  • Course code(s) - in order of preference
  • Credit card number (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and expiry date.

To Register call 311 or 1-877-311-4974 (toll-free outside Winnipeg), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, once registration begins.

Your receipt will be emailed to you.

 

Option Three - Register In-Person

Have the following information ready:

  • Name(s) of participant(s)
  • Course code(s) - in order of preference
  • Method of payment (Cash, Cheque, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Debit).

To Register in person visit any of the In-Person Registration locations.

Your receipt will be provided at the time of registration.

Option Four - Register by Mail or Drop-Off


To Register by mail or drop-off, fill out the registration form.

Make sure to include your payment information (cheque or credit card number with expiry date).
Please note, payment is required at the time of registration. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.

  • Mail your registration - Send to Registration Office, 395 Main St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 3N8
  • Drop off your registration at one of the following locations (check facility operating hours):
        • Fort Rouge Leisure Centre 625 Osborne St.
        • St. James Civic Centre 2055 Ness Ave.
        • Registration Office Main Floor 395 Main St.

Your receipt will be mailed to you.

 

Notes:
  • Non-residents of the City of Winnipeg must add 20% to course fees
  • Payment is required at the time of registration (no post-dated cheques)
  • All refund requests are assessed an administrative fee
  • Fees and courses are subject to change.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration for Leadership Programs is accepted at any time throughout the year.

Non-Resident Registration Fees

Individuals who reside outside of the City of Winnipeg and do not contribute directly to the tax base are assessed an additional 20% on all course fees.

If you reside outside the City of Winnipeg and own property within the City of Winnipeg – you are eligible to pay "Resident" rates.
Please visit one of our in-person registration locations with a current tax statement. Your tax roll number will be recorded on your family account and your account status will be set to “Resident”.

 

Use of Personal Information Collected for the Leisure Guide Registration Process
Personal information is collected under Subsection 36 (1) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and is protected under the Act. It will be used for the program registration process; for notification of program cancellation (where applicable);for emergency contact purposes; for attendance tracking; contacting customers for Leisure Program promotion purposes , and to share with appropriate certifying bodies (where applicable).
