Height Requirements The City of Winnipeg's indoor and outdoor pools purpose is to provide safe and enjoyable aquatic experiences. Specific age and height requirements are in place for admission to City of Winnipeg pools. Minimum height requirements are site-specific. Children under the age of seven and those that do not meet the height requirements are not allowed entry into the pool unless they are accompanied by a parent/guardian/caregiver with a ratio of one parent/guardian/caregiver to four children (1:4 ratio). Keep in mind that pool minimum entry height requirements are measured to the shoulder. The information below will assist you in selecting the appropriate aquatics facility for your family, school, or group. Height requirements are listed in inches and in centimeters, beginning with the name of the pool with the lowest requirement to the pool with the highest requirement. For example, a patron that is exactly 39 inches or 99 centimeters that meets the age requirements would be admitted to the Bernie Wolfe indoor pool, but would not be tall enough to enter any of the other indoor pools listed below, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian/caregiver.
