Cat Trap and Skunk Trap Rental Season is CLOSED
Anti barking collar rental season is OPEN
The Animal Services Agency rents Cat and Skunk traps and are available from approximately April through October.
Injured Dog:
Call the Animal Services Agency at 311 if the injured dog is moving.
Call the Winnipeg Humane Society at 204-982-2025 if the injured dog is not moving.
If you are unable to contact the Winnipeg Humane Society, contact the Animal Services Agency at 311.
Injured Cat:
Contact the Winnipeg Humane Society at 204-982-2025
Injured Wildlife:
Contact Manitoba Conservation at 1-800-782-0076 or call the Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Organization (PWRC) at 204-510-1855
Dead Animals:
If an animal is found dead on a road within the City of Winnipeg, call 311.
For dead animals outside of Winnipeg call 204-945-8955.
Dead animals on private property are the responsibility of the property owner.
The Animal Services Agency rents out Anti-Bark collars that are filled with Citronella spray and does not hurt the dog.
- The rental kit includes an anti-barking collar, a detailed instruction guide for usage, a tin of citronella spray, and a spare battery.
- The rental fee is $25.00 plus GST, and requires a $100.00 refundable deposit.
- The rental period is 10 days.
- Anti-barking collars are available from the Animal Services Agency building at 1057 Logan Avenue during normal business hours.
The barking collars are not rented out during the winter months as they are not cold weather resistant.
