ELECTION DAY

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2002

An opportunity exists, for persons eighteen years of age or older, to work as an Election Officer, either at the Advance Polls or on Election Day.

Responsibilities:

• Performing the duties of a Deputy Returning Officer, or other election-related position

Time Commitment:

• One or two training sessions (approximately 2 hours; date to be determined)
• 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Election Day, or as assigned

Total Remuneration:

• $150.00 - $175.00 depending upon assignment

Training and orientation to be provided by the City Clerk's Department
