Pathways to Winnipeg History, 1874-1924

Teachers!
|
The exhibit Pathways to Winnipeg History, 1874-1924, contains approximately
one hundred images of primary documents and photographs that capture the tone and flavour of Winnipeg’s early
years.
Pathways will be a useful resource for teachers and students learning about
local government in Winnipeg – particularly the development of primary services such as policing, fire prevention,
public transportation and public health.
Lesson Plans and Learning Activities have been developed to work with
the archival material presented in Pathways and to support learning objectives in the Manitoba Social Studies
curriculum. As well, we hope that Pathways will encourage interest in Winnipeg’s unique and fascinating
history.
