Wellington Crescent to be closed beneath Oak Point Bridge between Lanark Street and Academy Road WINNIPEG - February 10, 2010 - The public is advised that eastbound and westbound Wellington Crescent between Lanark Street and Academy Road will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2010 due to safety concerns raised by the owner of the Oak Point Bridge. The Bridge passes over both Wellington Crescent and Wolseley Avenue West.

to Remove High Snow Piles and Improve VisibilityWINNIPEG - January 29, 2010 - The public is advised that a major snow hauling operation on main routes, bus routes, collector streets, and residential streets begins Sunday night, January 31, 2010 in all areas of the city. Snow removal activities will include the removal of high snow piles at intersections and around schools, and windrows on boulevards, bridges and underpasses and locations where snow storage has been severely depleted.
