To provide highly reliable and affordable IT Infrastructure and Systems services for City of Winnipeg departments.
Mandate
The Corporate Information Technology (CIT) Department is an internal service provider for the City of Winnipeg. The mandate of CIT is to support public service delivery and to further the interests of the City through the provision of administrative leadership for the information stewardship program, program and policy development support, specialized expertise/consultation and services to all political and administrative units within the organization in the areas of information management, information technology, and other strategic internal services and initiatives as determined by the Chief Administrative Officer or Council from time to time. (Organizational By-law No. 7741/2000).
