July 28, 2017 - At an event this morning, Dan Vandal, Member of Parliament for Saint Boniface - Saint Vital, Councillor Jason Schreyer, Councillor Russ Wyatt, Councillor Jeff Browaty, Councillor Mike Pagtakhan, Chair of the Standing Policy Committee on Protection, Community Services and Parks, and Valley Gardens Community Centre President Angela Howie turned sod to officially begin construction on the new Valley Gardens Community Centre spray pad.

July 20, 2017 - Notre Dame Avenue between Weston Street and Midland Street will be completely closed to eastbound and westbound traffic starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 21 for a Canadian Pacific railway crossing repair. Notre Dame Avenue will reopen at 11 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2017.
