December 31 - The Residential Parking Ban has been lifted. The City of Winnipeg wishes to thank Winnipeggers for their cooperation during the Residential Street Parking Ban.

City ready for approaching storm
December 30 - The Public Works Department is closely monitoring the weather system approaching the city and will adjust snow clearing operations as needed based on road conditions and accumulation of snow. Sanding trucks will be deployed to improve traction on the roadway and, if required, plowing will initially focus on main routes.
