April 26, 2012 - A catch basin pipe in front of 843 Ingersoll Street collapsed late yesterday afternoon causing a large void under the pavement. Once the repair begins, there will be some traffic and parking restrictions on Ingersoll Street between Sargent Avenue and Ellice Avenue.
Corydon Avenue between Wilton Street and Rockwood Street closed to traffic
April 26, 2012 - The catch basin on the south side of Corydon Avenue between Wilton Street and Rockwood Street, and the pipe that runs from the catch basin to the sewer manhole, collapsed yesterday causing a very large void in the centre of the street.

Disraeli Bridge southbound lanes closure this weekend
April 25, 2012 - All southbound lanes of the Disraeli Bridge over the Red River will be closed this weekend to allow for concrete to be poured on the new bridge. Suggested alternate routes in the immediate area for southbound traffic are Hespeler Avenue / Redwood Bridge towards Main Street and Johnson Avenue West / Levis Street / Stadacona Street / Louise Bridge towards Higgins Avenue.
Update: City's Enhanced Traffic Signals Management Project continues to improve traffic flow throughout the city
April 24, 2012 - In an effort to constantly improve traffic flow throughout the City of Winnipeg, the Public Works Department has continued working on Winnipeg's Traffic Signals Management System. Begun in 2008, the project is a major building block for prompt response to signal malfunction, preventing traffic congestion, and reducing driving time across the city.
