March 30, 2011 - The public is advised that vehicle access between Waterfront Drive and Higgins Avenue will be closed starting Monday, April 4, 2011 until late fall 2011.

March 25, 2011 - The City and the Winnipeg Sun today announced a Sponsor Winnipeg contribution by the Winnipeg Sun, which will provide $125,000 of in-kind services to the City of Winnipeg.
City of Winnipeg participates in Earth Hour
March 25, 2011 - The City of Winnipeg, committed to raising awareness of the environment and sustainability, will again participate in Earth Hour by turning off the lights in certain civic buildings between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm on Saturday, March 26, 2011.
Partial roadway closures - Disraeli Street and Gladstone Street
March 24, 2011 - The public is advised that access from North Point Douglas to northbound Disraeli Freeway via Disraeli Street and the Gladstone Street loop and on-ramp will be closed Monday, March 28, 2011 until summer 2012. The closure is due to construction of the new Disraeli Bridges.

March 16, 2011 - In response to a new provincial guideline, as of March 15, 2011, the optimal level of fluoride in Winnipeg's drinking water has been lowered from 0.85 parts per million to 0.7 parts per million.
