WINNIPEG - July 29, 2010 - For the twelfth year, players from the Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club are teaming up with the Winnipeg Public Library to promote children’s literacy and support the Library’s TD Summer Reading Club.
Temporary closure of the east curb lane on King Street between William Avenue and James Street for reconstruction to the entrance to the City Hall courtyard
WINNIPEG - July 28, 2010 - The public is advised that the east curb lane on northbound King Street, between William Avenue and James Street will be closed for approximately three weeks to facilitate the reconstruction of the entrance to the City Hall courtyard.

New summer yard waste depots now open in northwest Winnipeg
WINNIPEG - July 9, 2010 - Residents in the northwest area of the city can now recycle their summer yard waste by dropping it off at three new Leaf It With Us depots. It will be composted into a reusable soil-like material and used to landscape finished landfill areas.
