Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25, 2010

Public viewing on Saturday from 7:00 am to 8:45 am
Approximately 500 bikes to be sold
Auction begins at 9:00 am SHARP

Public viewing on Sunday from 10:00 am to 11:45 am
Approximately 325 bikes to be sold
Auction begins at 12 noon SHARP

Payment terms – cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Interac (Cheques not accepted).

Auction services provided by Associated Auto Auction Ltd. A complete auction list will be available at www.associatedautoauction.com prior to the events.

On-site parking available - $2.00 per vehicle. Refreshments available. All proceeds from parking and concessions go to the Varsity View Community Centre.

All bikes are sold as is ~ No warranty is provided, nor implied ~ All sales final

One time bike registrations will be available for $5.00 each (registering your bike means if we find it, you get it back!).

WINNIPEG - April 21, 2010 - Approximately 12,000 businesses throughout the city will start receiving their 2010 Business Tax bills this Thursday, April 22, 2010. The deadline for paying this year’s business taxes is Monday, May 31, 2010.

“The timing of this year’s business tax mailing and payment deadline is consistent with our past practice,” said Nelson Karpa, Director, Assessment and Taxation Department. “The business tax bill will again be accompanied by our annual Business Tax Brochure, which provides important information regarding the business tax rate, methods of payment and penalties for late payment."

Realty tax bills will be sent out May 14th, 2010, with payment due on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.
