Two-Sided Back-Lane Collection to Start Monday, April 19

WINNIPEG - March 30, 2010 - Residents in the City’s Northwest Area with back-lane automated garbage cart collection will be able to place their cart on the same side of the lane as their property starting Monday, April 19 (Day 2 on the Recycling and Garbage Collection Calendar).

Improved Flood Forecast for Winnipeg – Lower River Levels Expected
WINNIPEG - March 23, 2010 - Today’s Provincial forecast for the Red River indicates that levels will be lower than earlier forecasts. The previous forecast range of 18.5 to 19.5 feet James Avenue has now been lowered to 17.5 to 19.0 feet James.
