On Sunday, September 7, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. join us in honouring the beauty of the tall grass prairie, its cultures and all its gifts during Living Prairie Museum’s 15th Annual Spirit of the Prairie Celebration.
Enjoy watching the release of a rehabilitated bird of prey at 1:00 p.m., listen to the engaging storytelling of Métis author Joe McLellan, and take a stroll through the tallgrass prairie preserve during a guided hike. Try your arm in the atlatl competition, make your own dream-catcher, and check out our many displays. Take part in a fun-filled afternoon of activities including a pow-wow demonstration, bannock baking, and games for the whole family. Admission is by donation.
