WINNIPEG - July 16, 2008 – The public is advised that Kenaston Boulevard will be temporarily closed to through traffic between Sterling Lyon Parkway and McGillvary Boulevard commencing Friday, July 18 at 7:00 p.m. for upgrades at the CPR and CNR rail line crossings at this location. It is anticipated Kenaston Boulevard will be re-opened on Monday, July 21 at 6:00 a.m. for morning rush hour traffic.
Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use Waverley Street as an alternative route during construction.
North of the rail line, Kenaston Boulevard will be closed at Sterling Lyon Parkway with local access to Rothwell Road. South of the rail line, the closure on Kenaston Boulevard will be at McGillivray Boulevard with local access to Lindenwood Drive East.
