Water and Waste
Recycling and garbage will not be collected on Friday, March 21, 2008, and Monday, March 24, 2008. Collection will resume on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 – Day 2 on the 5-day cycle.

This affects only those homes on the 5 day collection calendar for garbage and recycling. Collection for all others (i.e., apartments) will continue as normally scheduled.

Due to the new Louis Riel holiday, the Five Day Recycling and Garbage Collection Calendar on the inside back cover of the MTS White Pages has changed. For the new calendar:

• Sunday, March 23, 2008 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Monday, March 24, 2008 - 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Zoo:

• Open 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily

Conservatory:

• Open 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. daily

Swimming Pools
All pools are closed on Friday, March 21, 2008 except for the Pan Am Pool. The Pan Am will be open from11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Regular hours of operation are in effect for all pools on Saturday, March 22, 2008.

Pools will open on Sunday, March 23, 2008 as scheduled but will close at 4:00 p.m.

All pools are closed on Monday, March 24 except Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex which will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Leisure Centres
All Leisure Centres are closed Friday, March 21, 2008 and Monday, March 24, 2008. Regular hours of operation are in effect on Saturday March 22, 2008 and Sunday March 23, 2008.

Animal Services Agency
The Animal Services Agency facility at 1057 Logan Avenue will be closed Friday, March 21, 2008 and Monday, March 24, 2008.

Regular weekend hours of 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. are in effect for Saturday March 22, 2008 and Sunday March 23, 2008.
