WINNIPEG March 05, 2007 – Winnipeg Transit will be accepting applications for Bus Operator at City Hall, 510 Main Street on the main floor of the Administration Building, from 9:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6 and Wednesday, March 7, 2007.

Transit staff will be on hand to answer any questions applicants have related to this career opportunity. Job qualifications include valid class 5 driver’s licence with zero demerits, demonstrated employment stability, mature judgment and minimum Grade 10 education.

The position includes:

• Fully paid six week training program
• Starting hourly rate of $14.63
• Current maximum hourly rate $22.01
