Given the overwhelming display of support from citizens, the City of Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service together with the United Fire Fighters of Winnipeg respectfully request that anyone wishing to show their support make a charitable donation in lieu of sending flowers.

MEDIA RELEASE:

WINNIPEG February 9, 2007 - Given the overwhelming display of support from citizens, the City of Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service together with the United Fire Fighters of Winnipeg respectfully request that anyone wishing to show their support make a charitable donation in lieu of sending flowers.

Should citizens choose, donations can be made to: the Fire Fighters Burn Fund, 303-83 Garry Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4J9; the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation, 133 Walnut Court, Ottawa, ON Canada K1R 7W2; or a charity of their choice.
