Permits X- Press Project Media Conference
WINNIPEG - January 30, 2007 - The City of Winnipeg, along with representatives from the construction industry, today gave a progress report on the Permits X-Press project - a City-led initiative designed to speed up and improve the permit application process. This is the third time an official project update has been provided to the media and the public on progress.

WINNIPEG - January 5, 2007 - Kenaston snow disposal site closed today. The closure of the site is required to allow dozers to work for the next few days to make the site more accessible and safe for the public.
Residential Overnight Parking Ban lifted
WINNIPEG - January 4, 2007 - The Residential Overnight Parking Ban has been lifted effective 6:01 a.m., Thursday, January 4, 2007. Motorists are reminded the Snow Route Overnight Parking Ban remains in effect until March 1, 2007.
Snow clearing operations continue
WINNIPEG - January 2, 2007 - Snow clearing operations have continued around the clock since 7 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2006. To date, approximately 350 pieces of equipment have been deployed in the plowing and clean-up efforts.
