Median southbound lane will open on Disraeli Bridge for Monday, October 16, 2006 commute

MEDIA RELEASE:

WINNIPEG 0ctober 16, 2006 - City officials advised today that the median (or left hand lane) of the southbound Disraeli Freeway will be open for commuters, Monday, October 16, 2006.

Work continued throughout the weekend to shore up the structure and remove the vehicle to ensure that the median lane could be opened in time for the early morning (6:00 a.m.) commuters.

It will be approximately three weeks before both southbound lanes will be open to traffic.
