City Launches Tax Estimator

WINNIPEG March 23, 2006 – The City of Winnipeg’s Corporate Finance Department today launched its enhanced Web site which includes a Tax Estimator for the convenience of property owners.

You can access the Web site directly at http://winnipeg.ca/tax/ which will provide individuals with the ability to:

• Obtain information about their 2006 property or business tax bill including mailing dates, payment deadline dates, payment options and other services provided by the department.
• Estimate their 2006 Property Taxes.
