Katz launches new Mayor's Web site

WINNIPEG - October 13, 2005 - Committed to communicating more effectively with Winnipeggers, the Mayor's office will have a new up-to-date presence on the Internet located at www.samkatz.ca
“Having a strong effective web presence is vital in communicating with the citizens of Winnipeg,” said Mayor Sam Katz. “The site looks great, has links to a lot of useful information, and provides a real chance to connect with our city’s youth as well.”
www.samkatz.ca will provide the latest news at City Hall, notes on Sam’s major initiatives, information on upcoming events in his schedule, and links to important information and meetings of City Council and its committees.
The site will also feature a new Feedback option, permitting users to sign up for regular updates on Sam’s plans and activities. Visitor’s can request regular updates by clicking on the Mayor’s Office email link or by sending an email to feedback@winnipeg.ca
