Pan Am Recreation Facility re-opens October 8

WINNIPEG - October 7, 2005 - The Pan Am Recreation Facility, 25 Poseidon Bay, will re-open to the public on Saturday, October 8, with the exception of the main pool tank which will open on Tuesday, October 11.
The facility was closed on August 27, for scheduled maintenance that included re-tiling of the main pool tank floor, resurfacing the pool bulkhead, partial replacement of lockers, replacement of a portion of the roof over the training tank, as well as painting and miscellaneous plumbing repairs.
Cost of the maintenance work was approximately $400,000.
