Winnipeg Transit – Thanksgiving Day Service Schedule
Monday, October 10th , Winnipeg Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule.

Water and Waste Department
No Recycling/Garbage Collection on Monday, October 10, 2005
Recycling and garbage will not be collected on the Thanksgiving Holiday, Monday, October 10, 2005. Collection will resume on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 – Day 1 on the five-day cycle.
This affects only those homes on the five-day collection calendar for garbage and recycling. Collection for all others (i.e., apartments) will continue as normally scheduled.
The recycling/garbage collection calendar is at the back of the MTS White Pages phone book and at http://winnipeg.ca/waterandwaste.
Hours of operation for the Brady Road Landfill during the holiday weekend:
- Saturday, October 8 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday, October 9 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Monday, October 10 - 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
