Mayor Katz welcomes Rapid Transit Report
WINNIPEG - September 30, 2005 - Following through on his commitment to developing a made-in-Winnipeg plan to develop Rapid Transit, Mayor Sam Katz and Councillor Russ Wyatt presented the final report of the Mayor's Rapid Transit Task Force, which calls for the enhancement of existing transit services in addition to the construction of new busways.

Weekend closure of Kenaston Boulevard paves way for underpass construction

City reminds residents to "turn over an old leaf"
WINNIPEG - September 29, 2005 - The City of Winnipeg reminds residents to put their autumn leaves to good use by recycling them. Starting October 1, you can recycle your leaves by dropping them off at one of the ten "Leaf It With Us" Depots listed below. We'll compost them into a reusable soil-like material.

Mayor Katz leads financial delegation to New York City
