WINNIPEG - July 28, 2004 - All civic offices will be closed on Monday, August 2 , 2004.

Winnipeg Transit

Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule.

Community Services

Libraries:
All libraries are closed on Monday.

Zoo:
Open 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Conservatory:
Open 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Swimming Pools:
All indoor pools except Pan Am Pool will be closed on Monday.
Pan Am will be open from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
All outdoor pools open as usual.

Wading Pools :
17 Wading Pools are open. Hours vary but most pools open 11:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. including: Westdale Wading Pool, Amherst Park Pool, Weston Park, McKittrick Park, Brock Cordova Park, Dakota Water Play Park, Provencher Park, Central Park, Home Playground, Robert A. Steen Memorial C.C., Machray Park, St.Charles Park, Northwood C.C., Kildonan Park Wading Pool, Pirates Park, Keenleyside Park, and Bronx Park C.C.

Recycling/Garbage Collection Schedule
Recycling and garbage will not be collected on the Civic Holiday , Monday, August 2, 2004.  Collection will resume on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 – Day 4 on the five-day cycle.

Hours of operation for the Brady Road Landfill during the holiday weekend:
Saturday, July 31 8:00 a.m . – 4:00 p.m .
Sunday, August 1  9:00 a.m . – 5:00 p.m .
Monday, August 2  6:00 a.m . – 6:00 p.m .
