911 Inquest WINNIPEG - OCTOBER 29, 2002 - On behalf of Mayor Glen Murray, who is home ill today, Councillor Jenny Gerbasi will provide brief, general comments re: the 911 inquest report. Councillor Gerbasi has not read the complete report and will therefore not be in a position to provide detailed comments. As Chair of the Safety Committee, Councillor Gerbasi was asked by the Mayor in February 2000 to set up a Task Force on Domestic Violence, which included community leaders and women’s organizations with expertise in domestic violence.
