Leak in Water Feeder Main May Cause Discoloured Water For Some Winnipeg Residents  
WINNIPEG - NOVEMBER 8, 2001 - Yesterday at 6:00 pm, a large leak occurred on a 20" water feeder main between Galt and George Avenues, on the west bank of the Red River. Although the water supply to this main was shut off at 11:15 pm, water service to surrounding residents has not been interrupted.
